The front of the ring is a black glass gem, and the two sides are the iconic pattern of Freemasonry. The Square and Compasses (or, more correctly, a square and a set of compasses joined together) is the single most identifiable symbol of Freemasonry. The most common is that the "G" stands for God. The Stone fell out the first time I wore it. Customer service responded promptly and gave me the option of sending me a replacement or gluing the stone back in myself and receiving a 50% coupon for my next order. Unfortunately, I did not have the stone because I do not know when or where that stone fell out. Good customer service. But that particular ring is put together poorly. You know when you get a credit card in the mail and it is glued onto the paper with that soft glue that you can peel off? That's what the stone was glued on with. Not good. The rings i order looked amazing but 2 of them where the wrong size even if i used their chart. The ring that was supposed to fit my finger where size 15 but im pretty sure size 13 would have been good enough.
