How much do you know about Jesus pendants or rings?

Most people should not be unfamiliar with Jesus. So, how much do you know about Jesus? Today let's talk about Gthic's Jesus pendants and Jesus rings.

No one had ever seen God, but Jesus, the only begotten Son in the bosom of God, revealed him, and come back from the dead. That is why Jesus became the object of Christian worship. Some of the more famous images of Jesus are Good Friday and the Good Shepherd. These elements are also used in jewelry design and are popular among the followers of Christ.

Getting to know Jesus

God loves the world and even gave them his only-begotten Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. This is the impression people have of Jesus. Regarding his portrait, it is now mostly believed that he was a white man and may have had Nordic blond hair like Thor, the hammer of Thor, or of course reddish, brownish hair like the Spaniards.

Jesus’ Suffering & Good Friday

The disciple Judas betrayed Jesus, which led to his capture, and the chief priests and elders decided to put Jesus to death. Roman soldiers wove a crown of thorns, placed it on his head, took him to Golgotha, the Hill of the Skull. and then crucified him. Nowadays, Good Friday, Easter and Christmas have become the three major Christian holidays whose significance is to commemorate the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.

By incorporating this one event into the jewelry, it is not just a piece of jewelry, it also carries the faith of the followers of Christ.

This ring shows that Jesus is being tortured. Jesus’ suffering on the cross showed the devastating nature of sin, the wrath of God, the cruelty of humanity, and the hatred of Satan. At Calvary, mankind was allowed to do his worst to the Son of Man as He became the Redeemer of mankind. Jesus suffered and died in order to secure salvation for all who would believe.

This pendant shows the resurrection of Jesus. In Christian art, the eagle often represents the resurrection of Christ, the eagle was sacred to the god Jupiter, the highest and best god of the Roman peoples, and so they venerated the eagle as their symbolic mascot. Jesus rose on the third day after his death to prove to the world that God forgives sinners if they sincerely repent. Since then, Jesus has also become the benchmark figure of Christianity, and Christians believe that if they confess their sins and receive forgiveness, they will ascend to heaven and see God after death.

Jesus Shepherd

The shepherd, as a symbol, is often used together with "shepherd" to describe God and his works, especially in the Jewish and Christian traditions, and in the case of the Christian religion, specifically Jesus, who also calls himself the Good Shepherd.

The image of this pendant is taken from Jesus the shepherd. In fact, Jesus shepherding the sheep is not really for Jesus to herd the sheep, it is a metaphor. Jesus is the Savior and humans are the sheep, so Jesus is protecting humans like a shepherd. There is a saying circulating in Christianity that Jesus was a sacrificial lamb because in those days people sacrificed lambs and Jesus sacrificed himself to save mankind. The last theory is that Jesus was found by shepherds at birth and, was told by angels that he was the Savior.

The word priest or pastor, which originally meant shepherd in Latin, is now used only to refer to the clergy of most Christian religious denominations.

Sacred Heart Of Jesus

On the Sacred Heart of Jesus we see four marks with deep meaning: the cross, the flame, the crown and the wounds.

The cross was an instrument of shame in Jesus' time, but Jesus chose it for Himself. The cross represents not only the pain and sacrifice, but also the poverty, humiliation, injustice, persecution, betrayal, and misunderstanding that He endured along the way during His 33 years of life on this earth. The cross, which Jesus once carried for us, should now be carried by us.

Above the Sacred Heart, we see a burning flame. The scriptures call the Sacred Heart of Jesus "the fiery furnace of love and virtue", and this is not a figment of the imagination. This fire emanates from the Sacred Heart. Every word and action of Jesus is a reflection of His infinite and burning love for us humans.

Before Jesus was crucified, the wicked mocked Him by putting a crown around His head. Later, after His resurrection, Jesus kept this crown on His head. This crown was made of the sins of sinners, and Jesus endured the pain to pray for them.

If we look closely, there is another nail hole in the lower left side of Jesus' Sacred Heart from which blood is dripping. This is a hint of the way Jesus died.
